Doc, I have a wife who had just given birth. She gave birth through a difficult process. After delivery, my wife changed drastically. Until now he did not want to hold and care for our children. He was locked in my room a lot, do not want to do anything. Sometimes invited to the communication does not connect. He also sometimes likes to laugh and cry at the same time, even once when he was banging his head against the wall, he always said ga want to have kids. Sometimes he told me umtuk give our children to others. I am very worried about my wife. Actually what happened with my wife? Because before my wife was a cheerful and hardworking. Our children are ages 3 months but my wife still will not care, so we need the help of others to care for our children. What solution should I take.

Sir John is good,
I empathize listen to stories experienced by the mother and the father of a family. The symptoms experienced by women is similar to a mental disorder that often occurs after childbirth is postpartum depression or postpartum Psychotic Disorders.

To be much better immediately taken to a psychiatrist to get good care. This condition, although not too much concerned about its prevalence but often enough to make reduced quality of life of the mother and her child. Children cared for by mothers who are depressed are also physical and psychological development will experience delays.

That's why immediate treatment is necessary. Keep in mind that the conditions experienced by the wife of the father seem not normal psychological condition that often occurs in women after childbirth, called the baby blues. Hope can immediately seek psychiatric care.

Eye was able to express interest in someone of the opposite sex or same sex. Heterosexual men will have an enlarged pupil at the sight of the opposite sex, instead of homosexuals pupils dilate at the sight of another man.

When someone sees a picture of erotic and passionate, their pupils will dilate, an unconscious reaction. Therefore, the scientists assess the pupil enlargement could be a way to see sexual orientation.

The link between the size of the pupil with a real passion has long been known. In the 16th century in Italy the girls wear eye drops made from toxic herbs that will make their pupils dilate. Eyes that look bigger it is regarded as a seductive appearance.

Recently from Cornell University scientists perform experiments to show that the enlarged pupil that occurs in accordance with their true feelings. The study involved 165 men and 160 women, both gay, heterosexual, or bisexual.

The participants were then screened a video erotic men, women, and scenery, each of which lasted one minute. During the watch the video, a moving camera to record the pupil to measure the slightest changes of the pupil. Then the participants were feeling when I saw the videos.

The results show that the enlarged pupil that occurs in accordance with the pattern as in research on the effects of arousal on genital organs.

In the male respondents, the results are very clear. If they are heterosexual, their pupils dilate when viewing video erotic female. Bisexual men respond similarly to video women and men.

In women, it is a bit complex because their pupils dilate when I saw a video of men and women. According to Savin-Williams, chairman of the researchers, it is because of the evolutionary causes of women respond to sexual stimuli even though it was not interesting.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-46873065153482866962012-08-06T18:45:00.001+07:002012-08-06T18:48:11.998+07:00breast milk Just Not Enough for Babies Ages 6 Months

According to the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), six-month-old baby should be fed in stages so that adequate nutritional needs, especially for energy, protein, iron and vitamin A. Therefore, the function of providing breast milk Exclusive to the baby for six months needs further attention to the provision of complementary foods or breast milk MP.

Nutritionists from the Polytechnic of Health Jakarta II Anggraeni Dyah Ayu Purbasari when found in the seminar MP breast milk "Golden Standard
for Golden Period" in Jakarta, Saturday (04/08/2012), said that since 2000 WHO has been campaigning for Complementary feeding for infants aged six months. Unfortunately, socialization in Indonesia late.

In fact, the baby is 0-24 months is a golden age or golden period, in which brain cells grow very quickly reached more than 80 percent. If the nutritional needs at this critical period is not fulfilled, then it will have an impact on brain development and intelligence of children. During this same period two years are permanent and can not be repaired.

"Exclusive breastfeeding is not enough to reduce malnutrition in Indonesia. Nutritional problems precisely determined during the first two years of this, "said the woman who is fondly called Beyonce.

Golden period of the term refers to a standard that includes Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD) starting 1 hour after birth, exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months from birth, MP breast milk ranging in age from 6 months and continued breastfeeding until the baby is 24 months or more.

Beyonce says MP breastfed according to WHO consider balanced nutrition, especially energy, protein, iron, and vitamin A. So that the babies from the age of 6 months has to be given rice or carbohydrates, animal dishes, vegetable dishes, fruit and vegetables with creamed texture age appropriate stages.

He also regretted that, in developing the provision of MP breast milk with various streams, such as flow vegetarian, cerealia, fruit or gift from MP breastfeeding through 6 months. In fact, up Beyonce, no one type of food also contains complete nutrition.

"If the two-year period is not optimal, the risk of children not receiving the right nutrition at the time. Slow weight gain, height is also not optimal. Malnourished children and refusing to eat because they do not know the variety of food from the outset, "he said.

So also when the MP milk given to premature infants before six months will pose a risk. Baby food can be more pleasure than breast milk substitutes, low nutrient intake, increases risk of disease, as well as pregnant women at risk again.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-41854001705988415312012-08-06T18:43:00.004+07:002012-08-06T18:43:32.299+07:00Snoring, Sleep Should examination?
Does everyone who snore (snoring) should do a sleep (sleep study) is 6 hours? I snore, but without risk factors such as obesity, hypertension or diabetes mellitus. I also during the daytime did not experience sluggish or sleepy. I fell asleep and relatively easy to get enough sleep, but when you wake up in the morning is not too fresh. Please advisnya. Thank you.

Sir, if snoringnya occurs only occasionally and only when tired / exhausted usually not necessary. But, if every day with complaints of snoring is always another day when tired, sleepy continues, there are obese and another, then you should do the Sleep Study, for fear of stopping breathing during sleep there.
Not all breathing stopped snoring there, but to find out whether or not there is stopping breathing Sleep Study should be done because of the nature of the evaluation in accordance with the objective or what is there.
My husband has 44 years of age Height 175 cm and weight 78 kilograms. From the first, he was snoring up to date. Despite trying to lose weight by 5-10 pounds, but he was still snoring. What causes them and how the solution so the dock?

If I value, the Body Mass Index (BMI) husband's mother (weight in Kg versus TB in square meters) is still within normal limits. Indeed, obesity (BMI over 30) in epidemiologic studies show a strong relationship with the incidence of snoring.

Need to be aware whether the husband snores every time asleep, frequent waking at night due to choking, feeling tired in the morning and headaches. If any of these symptoms, the possibility of OSA, should be considered. Husband and mother have to undergo examination to find out is there any other factors that cause snoring.

The possibility of abnormalities in upper airway abnormalities such as enlarged tonsils or nasal cavities should be examined. For a while my husband slept on his side to reduce snoring, do not drink alcohol, not smoking and not drinking coffee before bed.

At age five, children should have learned to use the toilet and urinate in control so he does not wet the bed. But some children still have the habit of wetting the bed at the age of five.

If the child has always wet the bed every night, chances are he has a small bladder size or did he not have a response capability to get up when his bladder is full. However, this problem usually goes away with age.

But if the child is usually not wet the bed and then started wetting the bed again, usually caused by emotional disturbances, such as moving house or changing schools. If the stress period was over, ngompolnya will stop.

In most cases bed-wetting in children, the best way to handle it is to be as natural as possible. Bedwetting at the age of 5 years is still considered normal and will stop itself.

The doctors in The American Academy of Peditarics recommend that parents do not force the child or punish them for wetting the bed.

Control the bladder as it requires its own skills development. It takes time and patience. Talk to your child that you understand the difficulty and will help him.

Get children to always urinate before bed can help. Children should avoid drinking too much before bedtime. Nothing wrong with giving your child a reward if he had not wet anymore.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-25617320508071685102012-08-06T17:28:00.004+07:002012-08-06T17:28:30.047+07:00Delay in Walking in Children, Causes and Handling

Most parents expect their children can run faster than other children. But it turns out, in particular motor development skills actually run the normal age range from age 9 months to 18 months.

Parents should start to worry when a child can not walk when he had reached 18 months. Indeed, could walk at the age of 15-18 months is still within normal limits, but usually these children have impaired gross motor and balance disorders that light would be better given early intervention and stimulation.

In general, the son of late rarely accompanied by other delays in gross motor movement and impaired balance. Often a parent or a doctor thinks the child is not confident or trauma when walking. In fact, most of these children experience delays in gross motor and balance disorders in both the level of light or no light. Instead, parents are watching the development of gross motor, sensory, and vestibular disorders in children are often the child pneyebab late run.

Normal development of motor movement

- 6-8 months: Sit back and knees crawling with two legs.

- 12-18 months: Stand up without assistance, walking with a spread to the furniture in the house, walking 2 or 3 steps without assistance, walk 10-20 minutes without assistance.

- 18-24 months: walking without difficulty, interesting toys while walking, Carrying a large toy while walking, Up / down seat without assistance, find their own way to walk backwards, could go up / down stairs with assistance.

- Typically 24-36 months are able to climb well, walking up / down stairs using one foot per stair, walking on tiptoe.

The most common cause

A. Immaturity of the child's ability to perform persyarafan motor movement is determined by the maturity of the nerves that regulate movement. At the time the child was born, there are nerves in the central susunansyarat underdeveloped and function in accordance with its function, which controls the movement-gerakanmotorik. At the age ± 5 years of the nerves have already reached maturity, and menstimulasiberbagai motor activity. Muscles of control gross motor movements, such as walking, running, jumping, kneeling, growing much faster when compared to the smooth muscles that control fine motor activities, such as using fingers to menyusunpuzzel, holding a pencil or scissors to form a dough or clay, and so forth.

2. Vestibular or balance disorders in children who have sensory integration dysfunction of (DSI) is often impaired balance. Balance disorder that occurs is often considered to be less confident children. Balance disorders are usually characterized by a child afraid of swimming, climbing toys that move and sway like a swing, toy rocking horse power with a coin, take the elevator or escalator. Children generally do not like to ride in the car. Children may not cooperate in an effort to avoid the sensation that makes the child disturbed. Underreactive children for vestibular input does not seem to bother even after spinning for a long time, and seems to enjoy the fast movements such as swinging. When hurried, clumsy movements, easy to stumble or fall. He may not make an effort to catch himself when he fell. Child has difficulty holding his head while sitting. Children do not tend to do well in sports. He may have an awkward style, or unusual movements when moving your arm or head. Usually also accompanied by delays in reading, writing, speaking, and visual-spatial perception are typical.

3. Mild delays in gross motor development A child who is running late, possibly late in the sitting and crawling. But unfortunately, this delay is not the first thing that may be recognized by the parents. If this is the case, then the doctor will see street children in different contexts and to find out is where he is in a series of motor development. Usually also accompanied by delays in reading, writing, speaking, and visual-spatial perception are typical.

4. Sensory disturbances. in young children often have a certain sensitivity on the palms of the hands and feet. So this memgakibatkan children often tiptoe. During this ramp Tip Toe toe or the cause is still unknown. Though not because of anatomical abnormalities. During this time parents thought it was indeed the child's behavior. In children with sensory disorders usually disetai touch sensory sound and light. Sensory noise is usually the child is afraid and uncomfortable when they hear sounds of certain frequencies like the sound of a blender, a baby crying, the sound of electric saws. Light sensory bioasanya children are very sensitive to bright light and sunlight.

Predisposing factors

Delays in walking is common in certain groups of children such as:

Premature infants, obese or overweight, weight babies born with low bada or less than 2,500 grams, children with gastrointestinal disorders such as hypersensitivity saluraan gastropoesepageal reflux, frequent vomiting, nausea or frequent bowel movements difficult. This situation often occurs in children allergic or hypersensitive gastrointestinal tract. Very rare in children suffering from brain tumors, mental retardation and cerebral palsy.

Handling

If there is little delay in walking, the first step to do is to ensure that interference with the innervation of neurological examination, assessment of joint flexibility, muscle strength and range of motion.

When the cause is because of a delay in motor and balance disorders then you should do some exercises to improve stimulation intervention. Stimulation and intervention when performed in a lightweight running late because it will have an impact with other motor skills in the future.

Physical therapy is performed specifically trained Physical and Rehabilitation Specialist for the case of a disruption running light to heavy delays.

Classification criteria for intervention with late run
Can run the age of 8 months-12 months: The ability to run very well and very quickly, usually a child so gross motor and balance skills are very good. In this group may not need intervention or stimulation because the child will learn to walk well on his own without help.

Able to walk at age 12 months-15 months: normal walking ability and the average child's age. Usually such children gross motor skills and the ability of normal balance. In this group may intervene or mild stimulation would be better.

Can run the age of 15 months-18 months: The ability to walk normally but less than optimal. Usually such children gross motor skills and balance ability is less good. In this group need intervention or mild stimulation to the development of motor and vestibular better

Could walk by 18 months-24 months: The ability to walk lightly too late. Usually such children gross motor skills and balance skills are not good. In this group to do an intervention or a mild stimulation to the development of motor and vestibular become optimal. Directives should be carried out by professionals such as Physical and Rehabilitation Specialists

Able to walk at 24 months-32 months: The ability to walk late heavy. Usually such children gross motor skills and the ability of poor balance. In these circumstances, usually accompanied by neurological disorders or central nervous system. In this group to do an intervention or a mild stimulation to the development of motor and vestibular become optimal. Stimulation as it should be done by the direction of professional staff such as Physical and Rehabilitation Specialists

Could not walk until 32 months of age: The ability to walk late very heavy. Usually such children gross motor skills and balance ability is very poor. In these circumstances, usually accompanied by neurological disorders or central nervous system such as people with very severe cerebral palsy. In this group to do an intervention or a mild stimulation to the development of motor and vestibular become optimal. Stimulation as it should be done by the direction of professional staff such as Physical and Rehabilitation Specialists.

Prognosis

- Children with delays in walking typically also disetrai other delays such as delays in crawling, sitting, running or jumping.

- Children with delays running usually also accompanied by gross motor and balance disorders. In this situation the child is usually easy to watch out for falling and tripping. When jatuhpun children usually can not control themselves so often hit the head or chin.

- The future of children with delays running normally do not like sports or exercise is not good value. Such children are usually just happy to see the television, playing games or playing in the house. Similarly, when the school is usually just more fun to watch her friend who was playing in the yard.

- But in children with mild delays in gross motor skills will usually have a very good fine motor skills such as handicrafts, cutting, puzzle games, play games or other electronic games. Usually the hand is better than the ability of foot skills. So that the preferred sport and is dominated tennis, basketball, badminton or football than track.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-72241860691101661402012-08-06T17:20:00.003+07:002012-08-06T17:20:52.899+07:00Disorders alert Konsenstrasi in Last Week Fasting

Regular eating schedule, ie at dawn and breaking, is actually very good for functional ulcer disease. Unfortunately, a regular diet is likely to change when entering the final week of fasting. In this week, divided by the concentration of people think of the needs of the Eid, especially those who plan on going home.

"Usually the last week of fasting people break their concentration. They then broke carelessly resulting in stomach pain, arthritis, or headaches," said Dr. Ari Fahrial, SpPD-KGEH, digestive health experts from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (Faculty) who met in Jakarta, Friday (08/03/2012).

Health problems are often made people take a shortcut by taking either medication arthritis medication, blood-thinning medication, headache medicine, herbal painkillers and herbs are claimed to relieve arthritic pain. This instantaneous process, according to Ari even dangerous because it led to bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract.

In addition, the problem of sleep deprivation during fasting also should be wary. People who are relatively fast due to lack of sleep around 3 am they had to get up for the meal, while the daily activities still take place.

"Lack of sleep loss so sore. To reduce the stiffness in an instant the select random drug consumption, the tail can be up to gastrointestinal bleeding," he said.

Ari suggested to overcome the pain, you should simply use the ointment rather than the consumption of drugs. If the pain is unbearable, people can take paracetamol are relatively safe for the stomach.

Another thing that should be wary of the fasting person is keeping konsenstrasi while on the road. Ari cites several studies in Arab countries which states that the accident on the highway increases during Ramadan compared to other months. Changes in sleep patterns during fasting affects the concentration of motorists.

"Do not force yourself to bring the vehicle if it is very sleepy. Be careful also in the morning or afternoon while chasing the fast load time. Sometimes the cars accelerate relative to the potential to cause accidents," he said.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-53635659667252840262012-08-06T17:19:00.001+07:002012-08-06T17:19:05.936+07:00Honest People More Healthy and Happy
To obtain a healthy body, make sure you always eat fruits and vegetables, regular exercise, and stay away from lies. According to research more honest people who are physically and mentally.

An American study showed an average of lying 11 times a week, ranging from "white lie" a kind of compliment, to infidelity or other more serious lies.

According to research conducted by Anita Kelly, professor of psychology at Notre Dame, if we reduce the number of lies that we do in fact we can achieve a higher life satisfaction.

He conducted research involving 110 participants who were asked to stop or reduce the lie, lie either small or large, for 10 weeks. By contrast, other participants were not given specific instructions about the lies.

The result, after one of the banned groups do not tell a lie lie less than three times a week, they will complain of headache, sore throat, tension, anxiety, and other health problems, reduced.

"No lie is clearly associated with better health," said Kelly.

In addition to physical health, it turns out the people of the lie it is prohibited to feel the better personal relationships with others. Save the truth would make your relationship with others to be insincere.
"Lying can cause stress to many people, triggering anxiety and even depression. Reduce lies not only good for your relationship, but also healthy," said Dr.Bryan Bruno, chairman of the psychiatry department of Lenox Hill Hospital, New York City.

A habit of saying and acting honestly for 10 weeks also make it more intelligent participants avoid lies. For example, responding to questions that could lead to a tendency to lie with another question as a diversion.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-50424893466110132382012-08-06T17:17:00.003+07:002012-08-06T17:17:30.022+07:00Abstinence Surrender to Face Difficult Children Eat

Children are fussy eaters often the source of concern for the mother. But you do not no irritability or stress in the face of "quiet movement" that made the child. Infants aged 8-10 months had been able to make a move to shut up.

There are several reasons why your baby is refusing foods handed. For example, because he does not want to eat it, not feeling well, the teeth will grow or thrush, bored with the food menu is offered, bored with the routine, or it could be due to trauma to the child while eating.

"Dealing with children who make a move to shut the mother should be more patient and creative to find a way out," said Nia Umar, Chairman of the Association of Breastfeeding Counsellors Indonesia, solids in the seminar titled "Golden Standard for Golden Period," in Jakarta, Saturday (4/8 / 12).

According to Nia many mothers who do not understand the situation of children are fussy eaters. For example, make formula milk instead of feeding the child, adding vitamins or supplements to increase a child's appetite, or dilute the food to be more easily incorporated into the child's mouth.

To enhance the enthusiasm of children at mealtimes, there are some steps to try the mother. First, create a fun atmosphere to eat into the time for example by involving children in cooking activities according to age. Secondly, she did eat a varied menu so that children do not get bored.

Third, she can use a child's favorite food and let them choose their own meals when purchasing equipment. Fourth, keep the kids eat on your lap. Do not get children to eat while walking around the house compound, biking, or watching television.

Because eating is a social activity so try to eat together the whole family. You can add a baby seat in the dining room.

If the child is very difficult to eat the food siasati by giving frequent small meals but frequently. Another important note, Nia continued, if the mother uses the power caregiver or baby sitter, they also have to understand if the situation of children who do not feel like eating.

"There are children growing well but when MP ASI lost weight. Role of caregivers greatly affect this child's weight. The child is traumatized because when you eat is always threatened. When the nanny is replaced, the child gained weight back," the story of Nia.

"From this case, we can also see the role of caregivers in child development. Teach them with patience, respect the work of caregivers so that they also keep your baby properly," he continued.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-24677300066911413362012-08-06T17:14:00.004+07:002012-08-06T17:14:46.159+07:00Effect of Diet on Skin Care

"Whoa, healthy and intelligent children, yes, what is the milk?" is a phrase often heard when you meet colleagues, friends, or neighbors when they were amazed to see the development of the baby. Hearing this question, would answer his milk mothers breast milk. However, mothers who give their children formula milk will immediately mention the various brands of milk, following the price and taste.

"This question really like the abuse. Because it's healthy and intelligent children not only from the milk factor," said nutrition expert from the Polytechnic of Health Jakarta II, Anggraeni Dyah Ayu Purbasari, when found in the seminar MP ASI "Golden Standard for Golden Period "in Jakarta, Saturday (04/08/2012).

Anggraeni said the sentence as described above, became famous for his influence on television advertising of formula milk. The danger, people become more familiar with different brands of milk, compare prices, and recommend the taste of milk. In fact, a healthy and intelligent child should be examined genetic parents, the pattern of grindstones, compassion, and foster care, the environment inside and outside the home.

The best milk to grow up healthy and intelligent child is breastfeeding, provided the interval of one hour after birth, then proceed exclusively for six months. At the age of six months to 24 months of age, while human milk is given MP plus complementary foods or breast milk.

According to pediatrician Utami Roesli, SpA, IBCLC, FABM, breastfeeding is not merely numbers or targets. Breastfeeding is the communication between mother and child.

"Breast milk is the single best food for babies. Please read surah Al Baqarah verse 233 for the Muslims, Christians and those who read Samuel paragraph 2. All've created thus, fayakun kun alone," he said on the same occasion.

The right of mothers to breastfeed their babies is increasingly protected by the issuance of Government Regulation No. 36 of 2009 on Health and reaffirmed by Government Regulation No. 33 of 2012 on exclusive breastfeeding.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-39007805441099307892012-08-06T17:10:00.002+07:002012-08-06T17:10:52.667+07:00Does Obesity Cause snoring?
Is old age and obesity is a factor of "snoring"?. What's the solution?

according to epidemiological studies there is a strong relationship between obesity with the incidence of "snoring" or snoring. Snoring itself is a symptom of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). OSA itself is characterized by symptoms of choking during sleep, so waking, snoring and daytime sleepiness.

OSA is a risk factor for hypertension, heart disease and stroke and reduce quality of life. Regarding age usually occurs in young adults, typically 40-50 years of age and usually more experienced men than women.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-16692065292951026232012-08-05T05:06:00.004+07:002012-08-05T05:06:46.720+07:00Cow milk and stir Dangerous Not Fit for Consumption

Today many people confused and shocked dismay when later information that cow's milk is dangerous, not worthy of consumption in the long run because it resulted in osteoporosis and other dangerous diseases. It turns out that false and misleading information was processed incorrectly by some writer or journalist by reference to a claimed best-selling book called The Miracle of Enzyme by Dr.. Hiromi Shinya.
Although not all of these books contain the controversy, but instead it's an exaggeration controversial and not completely understood.
In the media or online media controversy is further complicated when a Professor of Clinical Nutrition School of Medicine, University of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Waloejo Soerjodibroto, also said that although it had not yet read the book states that the opinion was reasonable.
The next Waloejo also agree with the majority opinion that Shinya cow's milk is most suitable for calves, not for human children, let alone an adult human. Hiromi Shinya opinion is very controversial and misleading, because it is not based on scientific facts and research, but just based on opinion on personal experience.
But to date in PubMed or the online scientific journal of medical quality recognized internationally and that no single study on behalf of Hiromi Shinya. Controversy health information is often caused by a doctor or an expert opinion when it is not based on scientific research. Even a profesorpun opinion should not be used as guidelines are followed and if not based on scientific research data in the form of Genesis Scientific Evidence-Based Medicine or evidance base.
Dangerous myths and Cow's Milk Not Fit for Consumption
1. There was no other food is more difficult to digest than cow's milk.
In fact, just like other foods, healthy individuals in a state of cow's milk is easily digested. In patients with allergic or hypersensitive gastrointestinal tract, the content of gluten, casein, whey, or 40 other proteins that exist in pure cow's milk or formula can indeed interfere with and affect the function of the gastrointestinal tract. When gastrointestinal function is compromised, then the absorption is impaired.
2. Casein which forms approximately 80% of protein contained in milk, directly into the clot into the stomach so that it becomes very difficult to digest.
Cow's milk protein casein and whey are divided into. Casein in the form of condensed milk usually comes in the form consists of 76-86% of cow's milk protein. Casein may be precipitated by acid at pH 4.6. Casein is the most ental part of cow's milk, but not mean it can not or difficult to digest. Once again its absorption is impaired in patients with hypersensitivity and allergic gastrointestinal tract
3. Components of milk sold in stores has been homogenized and generate free radicals.
To date, no study has demonstrated such a thing. But it is true in patients with cow's milk allergy may occur spending various mediator substances in the human body that can menggganggu body, one that produces a rich effect of free radicals. But in healthy people it will not happen.
4. Pasteurized milk does not contain valuable enzymes, oxidized fat and protein quality changes due to temperature eminence.
Pasteurization is a process of heating the food with the purpose of killing harmful organisms such as bacteria, viruses, protozoa, fungi, and yeasts. Unlike sterilization, pasteurization is not intended to kill all microorganisms in food. Pasteurization aims to achieve a "log reduction" in the number of organisms, reducing their number so it is no longer able to cause disease on condition that has been pasteurized product is cooled and used before the expiration date.
In the processing of milk, the addition of certain nutrients have many purposes, such as replacing the nutrients lost during processing. Technique addition of nutrients to the diet is called fortification. Fortification in milk mostly to the milk powder, because during the processing of milk into powdered milk nutrients are lost by the heat. One nutrient that is often added to milk powder is AA and DHA. However, there has been no definitive study whether AA and DHA were added to the milk powder can be absorbed and utilized in the body as well as natural. If viewed from the processing technique, the liquid UHT milk has the advantage of the nutrients contained in them have remained relatively unchanged during the process. Processing techniques UHT (Ultra High Temperature) milk is the most advanced processing techniques, in which fresh cow's milk is heated to a temperature of 140 C for 4 seconds. The result, UHT milk is free of all microbes, but a number of natural nutrients is maintained. A number of vitamins, minerals, protein, fatty acids, amino acids contained in it remains safe and can be easily absorbed by the body.
5. Milk contains many substances that disrupt the environment of oxidized fats in the intestine, increasing the number of bad bacteria, and destroy the balance of bacterial flora in the gut.
Interference with the environment in the gut, increasing the number of bad bacteria, and destroy the balance of bacteria in the gut flora can occur in people with no special healthy individuals who have decreased immune system such as people with AIDS, malnutrition (malnutrition), tuberculosis, metabolic disorders and other chronic disorders. It can also occur in people with autism, food allergies or other food intolerance sufferers. In people like that are giving cow's milk should be under specialist advice, as it will aggravate the disturbances of the gastrointestinal tract. Not just milk the various types of certain foods that cause reactions, especially the intersection of food or food allergies can cope with as well. but otherwise healthy humans it would have no impact.
6. If a pregnant woman to drink cow's milk, their children tend to be more easily affected by atopic dermatitis (severe skin inflammatory disease).
Until now there is no sufficient scientific evidence that the maternal dietary restrictions during pregnancy play an important role in preventing atopic disease in infants such as asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), food allergies or dermatitis (eczema). However Epsghan and Committes on Nutrition AAP still recommends only the elimination diet of beans for the prevention of allergies since the pregnancy was not avoiding cow's milk.
7. Drinking too much milk causes osteoporosis.
Dr. Hiromi in his research results show that calcium supplements and dairy products can cause osteoporosis. From PubMed or other formal research literature and recognized in the world, there is no research that shows such a case. On the contrary, other research conducted Goulding A et al showed children who avoid milk and do not use a substitute for proper diet rich in calcium and has a low calcium intake of food and the values of bone mineral density (bone mineral density) is low.
Such children are at risk of fracture or fractures before the age of pre-puberty. Just when the recommendation is correct in at least the recommended calcium intake for adults is 800 mg per day. In the state of pregnancy, calcium requirements increase to 1000mg per day. Levels of calcium per 100ml fresh milk is 250mg. If the day someone is eating 2-3 cups of liquid milk (500ml-750ml), then the acquisition of calcium is 1250mg-1875mg. But there was a study conducted by Hidvégi E in people allergic to cow's milk can reduce the decrease in bone mineralization as measured by osteodensitometry. This happens because in people allergic to cow's milk than cow's milk intake was found to cause less gastrointestinal epithelial damage that can interfere with absorption of food. Moreover if this occurs an interruption of nausea and vomiting that will result in the child difficult to eat. When the child is not eating prolonged intake of nutrients does not occur so the impact lack of optimal intake of vitamins, minerals or other micronutrients including calcium.
8. People who drink cow's milk cernanya broken lines.
Hiromi observations indicate that the shape of the intestines of people who have bad eating and drinking will be visible bumps, sores, boils, black spots, and narrow here and there. This means that the desired ineligible intestine. While the gut of people eating and drinking well, he described a very nice, flat spots, redness, and fresh.
This is not wrong in patients with food allergy and food intolerance can disturb the gut can affect proktokolitis, entero colitis, allergic eosinophilic gastroenteritis, enteropathy syndrome, immediate gastrointestinal hypersensitivity (anaphylaxis), oral allergy syndrome, allergic eosinophilic esophagitis, gastritis, gastroenterocolitis, dietary protein enterocolitis, proctitis, enteropathy, celiac disease or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Could have an impact on infant colic, gastroesophageal reflux, and constipation (hard BAB) prolonged. Various disorders may be able to display various signs and symptoms of gastrointestinal keruskan as portrayed Dr. Hiromi. But again, it is common in patients with gastrointestinal allergy and hypersensitivity.
The greatness of Cow's Milk
Milk is a white nutritious liquid produced by the mammary glands of female mammals. Cow's milk is processed into various products such as butter, yogurt, ice cream, cheese, condensed milk, milk powder and others for human consumption. Today, the milk has many functions and benefits. For productive age, milk helped their growth. For the elderly, milk helps to prevent loss of bone support. Milk contains many vitamins and protein. Fresh cow's milk naturally have contained a number of vitamins, minerals, lactose (milk sugar), essential fatty acids (linoleic acid and linolenic acid), essential amino acids (tryptophan, tyrosine), sphingomyelin, lactoferrin, and galakto-oligosaccharide prebiotic (GOS) the complete composition. Given the efficacy and very complete nutritional content, milk is classified as a functional food (functional food). And as a functional food, milk can be consumed without limit because it does not pose any danger. However, the concept of balanced nutrition, a person is recommended to drink between 2-3 glasses of milk a day, equivalent to 500-750ml of liquid milk.
Controversy Hiromi
Dr. Hiromi Shinya is a gastroenterology surgeon of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Writing the book The Miracle of Enzyme was inspired by the experiences of a child who suffered gastrointestinal disorders are exacerbated by dairy cows. Likewise, it is found in most patients dioperasinya. Dr. Hiromi Shinya addressing the impact of the dangers of cow's milk can cause osteoporosis, wound at USU, colon polyps, enzyme disorders, and various other disorders. So he does not recommend for long-term drinking milk.
Although only based on personal experience, when listened to opinions that it is probably not wrong. But the fact that interference can only occur in people with allergies and gastrointestinal hypersensitivity. But it will not occur in healthy individuals. Allergy and hypersensitivity in patients with gastrointestinal tract when consumed cow's milk could disrupt various functions of the gastrointestinal tract, including digestive enzymes.
Even in the scientific research that is included in PubMed and other scientific journals say that cow's milk allergy can affect the skin, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract disorders and various other organs. Reaction to acute (short term) that often occurs is itching and swelling of the lips such as anaphylaxis, shock, fainting with blood pressure and blood pressure down. While the reaction of chronic (long term) what happens is asthma, dermatitis (eczema skin) and gastrointestinal disorders.
Could have an impact on infant colic, gastroesophageal reflux, and constipation (hard BAB) prolonged. Several other studies mentioned food allergies include cow's milk may interfere with the child's behavior such as sleep disorders, hyperactivity, emotional disturbances, impaired concentration, and aggravate the symptoms of autism. However, these impacts could only occur in individuals who have allergies or food intolerance.
In healthy children or others do not affect healthy people had feared. Thus, the opinion of cow's milk to make a variety of impacts that can not interfere digenerelisasikan. This means that in certain groups of children can disrupt the body's organs berbegai remain in the majority of healthy children will not even bother nutritional content of milk is very good.
Hiromi mentioned disorders are not only caused not only by cow's milk allergy but also other foods such as chocolate, nuts, certain fruits, fish and so on. If it used the assumption Hiromi chocolate, nuts, certain fruits, fish is also harmful to health and unfit for human consumption to other healthy.
The controversy is also saddled with other business interests. The goat milk was unscrupulous businesses take advantage of this opportunity to attack the evils of cow's milk. Goat milk is considered as a cure allergies and better and can be considered for replacement in children with cow's milk allergy. It may be vitamin cow's milk and goat's milk is not much different, but the allergy-causing protein content is also not much different. If the patient has an allergy to cow's milk goat's milk can not be replaced. If the patient is allergic to cow's milk with goat's milk is not disturbed, then the truth of the previous diagnosis of cow's milk allergy questionable validity.
But it is true when someone has an allergy to cow's milk, cow's milk intolerance, metabolic disorders, patients with hypersensitivity autuism or other gastrointestinal disorder then you should avoid cow's milk and to find an alternative replacement. But unfortunately, there are currently excessive tendency to diagnose cow's milk allergy. Almost all children experience allergic symptoms immediately sentenced as cow's milk allergy but not necessarily true. In fact, according to research in several countries in the world, the prevalence of cow's milk allergy in children in the first year of life is only about 2%. Approximately 1-7% of infants are generally allergic to proteins found in cow's milk.
The controversy was reminiscent of the Blood Type Diet book written by Dr. Peter D'Adamo. He also wrote that certain foods on certain blood type is safe and that health menggangggu. Indeed, after the diet is by most people to follow and succeed. But actually when examined a variety of food is mostly avoided risky foods high allergen or allergens that can interfere with those who suffered, but not based on blood type. That is, any blood type if any of the following list of foods in general most will be relatively successful. But in healthy people who do not have allergies or food intolerance will not be any impact, though not to follow the blood type diet. Until now there is no scientific research showing the benefits of the blood type diet on health. Even in PubMed international scientific or medical journals not found any credible research conducted by Dr. Peter D'Adamo about the blood type diet.

Controversy often arises in medical opinion in the community because of globalization and sophistication of information technology very rapidly. A variety of health information very quickly to the media through the press or online. Even more simplified current distribution is very broad in the presence of BBM, Twitter or other social media. Every person is not even an expert can freely propagate kesehatanpun medical opinion without knowing the truth of scientific health information. Besides the common people in general are often wrong in interpreting it. Controversy health information is often also caused by the opinions of doctors, medical experts or medical experts.
How to respond
Under various conditions of globalization of information the public should be smart in finding and digesting information. When informed that is not scientifically correct and incorrect in interpreting, it will get a misleading health information. The current tendency is exacerbated by the media both print information or certain electronic. In fact, until recently on television a lot of health information would be given not by doctors but by people who are not competent in his field

Indonesian Broadcasting Commission should be cautious in doing this. In addition, the media should have a competent consultant to educate people in order not to mislead. The media should have the right mindset in getting information. In pursuit of health information sources, the media have to find a news source in accordance with their competence. When informed that different, perhaps more credible is the source of competent. For example, milk cause osteoporosis information we may have more trust information from a nutritionist Goulding of Dr. Hiromi Shinya compared to a surgeon.
In these circumstances, people demanded not easy to believe and be careful, clever in finding and processing information. Affected by the health information is true not only poorly educated people, people who are not highly educated backgrounds kesehatanpun has lulled many misguided health information. Hopefully this nation is more intelligent and wise response to the progress of such great information. for the betterment of his health.
Almost every cancer patient will experience emotional turmoil when I discovered she had cancer. Should be addressed immediately because your body has to face some physical challenges. Depression can hinder the healing process of cancer patients.

The experts at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center believes this may be associated with an abnormal stress hormone regulation and inflammation (inflammatory) gene expression. The results of this study was published on August 1, 2012 in PLoS ONE.

"Our findings indicate that mental and social health can affect biological processes, which affect the development of cancer," said the researcher, Lorenzo Cohen, in a news release.

"Research also shows that screening for mental health should be part of standard treatment, even to deal with life-threatening diseases," added Cohen.

To prove these findings, the researchers analyzed the survey was completed over a period of five years involving 217 patients newly diagnosed with kidney cancer that has spread.

The participants were asked to answer questions about how their spiritual life and religion. They also were asked about depressive symptoms, social support, quality of life and how to resolve the problem. In addition, participants were also asked five blood samples and saliva samples every day for three days.

The researchers used saliva samples to track changes in hormone levels of cortisol, a stress hormone that is usually higher in the morning.

Throughout the study, 64 percent of patients died. Most or the average patient can survive only 1.8 years after diagnosis. Overall, researchers found that 23 percent of patients experience clinical depression. Researchers assume that depression can lead to shorter patient survival.

The study results also showed that higher cortisol levels than normally associated with shorter survival among cancer patients. From here, the researchers concluded that the relationship between mental health patients and the survival time is related to the regulation of inflammatory genes.

Cohen says that although there is a relationship between depression and survival of cancer patients, it does not prove causality. "Further research is needed to investigate whether treatment of depression can improve the quality of life of cancer patients with mild mood disorders, moderate or severe," said Cohen.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-65457288328321860272012-08-05T05:01:00.003+07:002012-08-05T05:01:54.440+07:008 Percent of Olympic Athletes suffering Asthma
Who says people with asthma are not able to enjoy various sports activities? The proof, about 8 percent of Olympic athletes have asthma, or suffer the symptoms of asthma airway narrowing.

Wheezing, coughing, or shortness of breath are major signs and symptoms of asthma. Most people with asthma are able to control the disease effectively with medication. Asthma affects more commonly the children and gradually improved until adulthood.

According to a study analyzing the information the athletes of the Winter Olympics from 2002-2010 known asthma is a disease that affects many athletes. They usually take asthma medication or sniff sniff type beta-2 agonists.

According to Kenneth Fitch, of the University of Western Australia, a recurrence of asthma in adulthood is normal in athletes who do endurance sports. Intensive training over the years can also trigger asthma.

"Breathing air or cold air berpolutan also an important factor in the incidence of asthma among athletes," said Fitch.

However, athletes who suffer from asthma or airway constriction can still perform well when competing.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-64018743121132001172012-08-05T05:00:00.003+07:002012-08-05T05:00:33.402+07:00This woman Accidental Swallow Knife As Laughter

A 30-year-old woman reported accidentally swallowed a knife when he was laughing. The incident began when a woman who had a history of bulimia was demonstrated in his friend that he no longer has a vomit reflex.

Then he put the knife into his mouth and laughing, that's when the knife apart and he swallowed it. Luckily the doctors managed to take a knife and there was no physical damage suffered. Previously he had swallowed a knife. He then referred to consult a psychiatrist.

According to gastroenterologist physicians, cases of people who swallow objects are actually quite frequent. For example, only batteries, razor blades, metal objects, pencils, toothbrushes, spoons, and coins.

The ability of human digestion is amazing. Stomach we have more staying power than we imagine. Been reported by a man who ate a piece by piece part of a four-seater Cessna plane.

You may also have seen people who like the contest much-Most food in quick time. Their ability to accommodate very large portion of food in a short time was amazing.

But they are at risk of experiencing stomach upsets, even not a few who have undergone intestinal surgery. They also typically suffer from obesity and a reduced ability of the stomach to empty its contents. Symptoms include nausea, hypoglycemia, and abdominal discomfort.

In the stomach, the actual objects to "foreign" not intentionally, or unintentionally, we are able to swallow almost 90 percent through the intestines and move to another part.

Despite digestion have the ability to protect itself from foreign objects, it appeared about 1500 deaths each year due to ingestion of foreign objects.

In addition, the course takes no small cost to the medical action to take foreign objects from the stomach.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-11156074229028283682012-08-05T04:59:00.001+07:002012-08-05T04:59:11.000+07:00Recognize that grabs Ebola Virus Death Toll 16 in Uganda

Ebola virus outbreak in Uganda, up to now reported to have claimed 16 lives. Uganda President Yoweri Museveni asked the people to avoid direct physical contact with patients, post-it attacks the capital of Kampala.

Museveni asked the people to avoid shaking hands, kissing and having sex with an infected person. Although the outbreak of Ebola occurred in many African countries, it is not possible the virus could spread around the world. So how about the actual ins and outs of this deadly disease.

Ebola, or better known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever is a disease caused by the Ebola virus was first discovered in Africa in 1976. The initial symptoms of this disease include fever, headache, joint and muscle pain, sore throat and other symptoms are accompanied by diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain. In some cases it even causes a rash, red eyes and bleeding internally and externally.

The National Institutes of Health recorded almost 90 percent of people infected with ebola virus, has died. The virus is endemic in several African countries such as Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Sudan, Ivory Coast and Uganda.

Actually, humans are not natural nest of the ebola virus. The first time the virus is believed to be those who have direct contact with animals infected with the virus. Animals that could potentially spread the virus to humans ebola among other chimpanzees, gorillas, forest antelope, cynomolgus monkeys.

Once someone is infected from an animal then the person could potentially spread the virus to others through blood fluid, saliva, mucus.

Based on some experiences in some countries where the case occurred, ebola is often spread out and attacked the workers in the field of public health services. Of course this is normal because they are in charge of caring for patients who contracted the virus. Especially if they do not use protective gear such as masks and gloves. The use of new needles as a means of virus spread.

Scientists are still not known where ebola virus came from. Research shows if the bats can be infected with ebola virus but the virus can survive without the ebola disease. Bat claimed that animals play an important role to maintain the virus in nature.

Based on WHO data from 1850 found in 1976 recorded more than 1,200 cases and deaths caused by this virus. Until now have not found a drug that can cure this disease.

Patients infected with the disease can only be treated through therapy, and some intensive care as the patient's fluid balance, keeping blood pressure and oxygen levels, as well and keep them from things that can cause infection.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-82843626607991518872012-08-05T04:56:00.001+07:002012-08-05T04:56:57.009+07:00Warm Love Before Stale

New love is like a fire, really pretty, really hot, and surging. But it's still just a blinking light. But the love of the heart which is more mature and disciplined like coal, burning unquenchable (Henry Ward Beecher)
Every day we eat rice, food stand a couple of days, origin is still pretty heated. Likewise, love in marriage. Love is the soul food that should always be warmed. Love can be "fresh". Love can even become "stale". Becomes very uncomfortable for those who enjoy it even repulsive. Do not wonder the divorce rate rose, love can not stand the last stale.
I do not know. Many people who get
married just to be bothered and busy in preparation for the reception tomorrow. Courtship was only sober for some people. Long-distance courtship and did not know each other well does not matter. Found one or two months in facebook twitter direct imitation is also OK. Marriage only as a social status only. That is what the author observed during premarital counseling and marriage became a therapist. But if they neglect to keep his love in a marriage relationship, negligent aka "warm up" their love, then sooner or later that love becomes stale.
Indeed it would be nice, before marriage, love and emotions mature. Full consideration. Because marriage means staying together for life. Not like the clothes, not like removed. No! Nor was it a matter of trial and error, no!
In our counseling room, it was obvious marital problems do not occur in the marriage. But it happened long before marriage. That is because of the lack of recognition of each other, love kenak-infantile, emotional intelligence is low, and the example (family tree) Parents who are bad marriage. It all needs to be recognized and well prepared. Whether you are quite flexible, adaptable and willing to forgive your partner.
Four basic ingredients
According to research about intimacy, men and women differ in their building or the warm intimacy of love. In general, women are more capable of fostering intimacy than men.

Only, they are different. The women are better able to develop a deep emotional intimacy than men. They tend to share (the story) with respect to experience feelings. While men tend to share her love mengangatkan experience or activity

Intimacy or warmth of love need to be trained and raised. The trick is to maintain and develop intimacy. Do not forget, the survey proved the intimacy associated with our health.

There are four basic ingredients to warm love.

First, it is enough time with your partner.

Second, it could be fun to talk with a partner.

Third, have a good sense of humor and jokes.

Finally, glad to help when the couple needed help.

The bottom line has always thought of bagamana to partner happy and satisfied.

To love means to warm you should be concerned, willing to share and express yourself in your partner without fear or pretense. There is a willingness to maintain the spouse and the couple is ready to protect their physical needs well.

This includes sacrifice for the partner, defended the couple when he threatened. All this will give your partner the most fundamental sense of security.

Maintain intimacy, love to warm

There are five forms of intimacy that needs to be warmed in the marriage relationship:

First, the emotional intimacy. This is an experience of a feeling of closeness, the ability to share feelings openly, and the full attention of the couple. His form is longing to be together, there is joy chatting and walking together. The point is, make time to be emotionally intimate.

Second, social intimacy. Experience of having friends and social activities together. Its form, not easily jealous. Conversely want to hang out with friends close to your partner. Make time to meet with their respective companions.

Third, sexual intimacy (for husband and wife). It is the experience of affective states, touch, physical closeness and sexual activity. His form is to have an interest in your partner's body, having an orgasm and free in communicating about sexual issues. The tips, take a regular basis to enjoy sexual relations with your partner's needs and deal, too creative to do it.

Kempat, recreational intimacy. Share experience joy through hobbies, sports, and recreation together. The ability to enjoy leisure time together. Plan a vacation at least twice a year, which is fun for both parties, including children.

Fifth, spiritual intimacy. The ability to enjoy fellowship together spiritually, to grow in faith and pray for each other. Apart from enjoying the full faith, to strengthen each other as partners in a depressed condition, and many struggles. You can become friends sharing (vent) is fun and strengthen

If you can build and maintain the intimacy, love to warm a regular basis, then the wedding was really fun. Where you dare to leave the spouse (divorced). Great loss.

With the warmth of love that gives us pleasure and satisfaction. Also joy, peace, serenity, and minimal stress.

Conversely, if we do not care for love, let it be fresh and "stale" then it may bring negative results. Among others, easily hurt, a lot of physical and psychological complaints. Marriage without intimacy and warmth of love lead to tensions and difficulties that affect the health to your career.

Recent findings of scientists at the University of Reading and University of Southampton, United Kingdom indicates that the consumption of salmon during delivery can raise levels of important nutrients in breast milk. But on the other hand also reduces disease-fighting antibodies passed from mother to baby through breast milk.

As you well know, salmon is rich in omega 3 fatty acid content, which is important during early childhood development during the growth and development. In addition to good growth of the baby's brain and eye, omega 3 also
can maintain healthy blood vessels, heart and immune system.

This is why pregnant women are often encouraged to eat several servings of fish rich in marine omega-3 content of the week.

However, very few people know about the effect of fish oil intake during pregnancy on the content of omega-3 fatty acids in breast milk (ASI) and the immune substance, which is transmitted from mother to infant during breastfeeding.

To determine the effect of consumption of omega-3 fatty acids in human milk, researchers conducted a study of dietary intervention, in which pregnant women were randomly assigned to eat according to normal practice, and other high intake of salmon.

The researchers found that mothers who ate salmon during the final trimester of pregnancy had an increase in the proportion of omega-3 fatty acids in breast milk during the first month after birth, but also lower levels of secretory immunoglobulin-A (Siga) - important antibodies found in breast milk serve to protect the baby against infection.

"Pregnant women in Britain today are advised to eat one or two portions of oily fish a week, and limit consumption of tuna and avoid eating swordfish and mackerel. It is intended to balance the intake of omega-3 level, while also restricting foods that may contain high levels of mercury, the researchers said, Parveen Yaqoob, Professor of Physiology of Nutrition at the University of Reading.

"Although our study suggests that pregnant women with diets high in fish oil have useful nutrients to the baby while nursing, more research is needed to examine how the effect of lower levels of antibodies in breast milk in the baby biologically," he added.

However, researchers did not forbid women to avoid eating fish rich in omega 3. However, consumption of fish oils shown to increase essential nutrients in breast milk are beneficial to help the growth of babies in the stage of development.

"Breast milk contains a number of ingredients that contribute to immunity, and of these findings we can not say if the reduction in one type of antibody will have an effect on infant health," he concluded.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-58171856217531835802012-08-05T04:48:00.004+07:002012-08-05T04:48:33.272+07:00Dawn Unfogging Stigma

Vincit qui patitur. Scars that word is embedded in the arm Fajar Jasmin (35) since a year ago. Tattoo that caught my eyes as Dawn opened the door of his house in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, last week. Owner's hands were thin. However, fresh white face, smiling.

Who dare to suffer going to win. It reminds me to keep dare and survive, "said Dawn glanced incision in his arm. Last week, in Washington DC, United States, the International AIDS Conference is underway to-19.

His wife, Flora Leonnie (35), come sit with Dawn in the living room all-white minimalist design. The Latin maxim manifests in the couple's life when Dawn found infected with HIV / AIDS.

Their world was changed five years ago. Dawn severe diarrhea for two weeks. He was forced to stop working as a copy writer in an advertising company. Doctors do not have problems with digestion Dawn. He then suggested an HIV test. February 2008, Dawn confirmed infected with HIV.

"At that time, the immediate thought was the son and wife," said Dawn. She married Leonnie 2004. They have three children aged 7 years, 6 years and 4.5 years. The new dawn relieved to know that the test results wives and children of HIV negative.

Leonnie original shock with her test results. However, bachelor of fine arts was not buried grief.

Open

From the beginning, the couple decided to open with HIV positive status Dawn. They then collect the next of kin. "During the meeting, Dawn explains her condition. His mother wept at the news, "said Leonnie.

There are relatives who asked, "I used to share a glass with you, it's okay?" Dawn excuse. "I explain, HIV is not spread by sharing cups, exchange clothes, or just staying in the same place," said Dawn.

Dawn also explained to her extended family that HIV transmission occurred, among others, by having sex without a condom, use of shared razors, transfusion with infected blood, and the use of needles or sharp instruments are not sterile.

HIV cases in Indonesia since 1987 and heavily promoted. However, understanding and acceptance of people with HIV / AIDS stigma is often shrouded in fog. People pull back story, what is done in the past to someone infected with HIV. In fact, it is better to give chance the person checked out, treated, and live responsibly to not pass on to others.

Dawn did not cover the status of co-workers. He returned to work after 1.5 years of restoring health. Now, Dawn became editor-in-chief of Climate Carbon media, registered as a member of the Delegation of the Republic of Indonesia for the Negotiations on Climate Change United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2010, and worked in the Presidential Work Unit of Supervision and Control of Development.

"I was fortunate to receive co-workers. The two men came to ask, I was glad, "said the psychology graduate. That's different from the stories he heard when gathered with others who are infected with HIV. They generally been rejected in the workplace, the environment, even by medical personnel.

However, the course is not always smooth. Dawn openness backfired when registering their children to private elementary schools last year. School was canceled due to objections received from a number of his parents.

Ironically, the rejection was proper on World AIDS Day which falls every December 1. "They asked for the test results as proof of my child is not infected. It's the same with discrimination. My child is HIV negative. Positive children were not allowed to be rejected, "said Dawn.

Dawn argues, it is better to know the status of the school and there is no guarantee there is no discrimination in the future.

Dawn openness will create a dialogue in their children's school community. Had held workshops with HIV / AIDS in the school. A painful process that ultimately sweet fruit. Allowed his son was educated at the school.

"If people with HIV continues to shut down, the situation will not be completed," he said. They lose a life not only because of illness, but rather a result of social pressure. People will be reluctant to check status and unknowingly transmit HIV. In fact, until now the stigma is not easily removed, even by the start of antiretroviral treatment changed the course of HIV / AIDS.

Last long

Provision of antiretroviral drugs to government programs since 2004. A total of 25 817 people in Indonesia have been getting treatment until early 2012.

Prof Samsuridjal Djauzi of HIV Integrated Services Unit Cipto Mangunkusumo / Faculty of Medicine, said antiretroviral drugs to prevent viral replication was not detected in the blood. Obstructed the course of disease and decreased mortality. Even with tight control physician, partner with HIV who desire offspring can give birth to healthy children.

"People with HIV who seek treatment and health care are very likely live to be old. There is a healthy life for 18 years with antiretroviral drugs, "said Samsuridjal.

Now, HIV is increasingly controlled by antiretroviral drugs. "This disorder is to be like other chronic diseases such as hypertension or diabetes, who need to take medicine on a regular basis," said Janto Linga, mentor the clinical management of HIV from the World Health Organization (WHO), which is also the former Chairman of the Working Group, HIV / AIDS at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases Sulianti Saroso. The difference, antiretroviral drugs do not cure, and sufferers can still transmit HIV.

Dawn started using evapiren and Combivir in 2009. The medication is taken every 12 hours. So as not to forget, Dawn install an alarm on his cell phone. Once a month he consulted to Cipto Mangunkusumo, taking medications, and check the amount of virus.

He keeps Leonnie not infected. "Although the virus was not detected in the blood, I always use a condom during intercourse," he said.

Leonnie was diligent testing every six months. "To this day I am negative," he said.

Leonnie determined to stay healthy and rational face of HIV in the family. Moreover, the children need attention. Already a month Leonnie quit her job at a foundation and now the food business.

Starting from the allergenic baking without gluten, dairy, eggs, and sugar to his eldest son, is now accepting orders Leonnie that particular food. That afternoon, the living room of their home which functioned as a "factory" filled with fragrant chocolate cupcakes.

Dawn was no less excited. He tried to live a regular basis, ranging from eating, resting, and exercise. Health care is important for other infectious diseases do not appear in the body of people with HIV, given their compromised immune system.

"I want to be a good father to my children many years from now," said Dawn.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13590265373859631250noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3780573137976982710.post-88444907309784348392012-08-05T04:44:00.003+07:002012-08-05T04:44:56.732+07:00Infection risk of Caesarean section Very High

Decision to do a cesarean section should be a last option during childbirth. Because the risk of infection from this operation is much higher than previously thought.

UK study shows, one in ten women who undergo caesarean infections so they should stay longer in the hospital for treatment.

Risk of infection is usually contained in stitches the incision on the seven layers of abdominal tissue. Although the majority of post-caesarean infections are not serious, but it can cause pain and discomfort.

"Minor infection can still cause pain and there is likely to affect the deeper tissues. More serious infections requiring treatment in hospital longer," said Dr.Catherine Wloch, from the Department of Healthcare Associated Infection and Antimicrobial Resistance.

Another disadvantage of post-operative infection is reduced ability of mothers to care for her baby because it takes a while to recover from surgery.

"There is a tendency to assume a cesarean section is safe, but this includes a major operation. Caesarean section should only be undertaken if there is a risk to the mother and baby when it's done a normal delivery," said Wloch.

He added, if the infection spreads to the uterus, it can cause a woman to conceive again trouble.

Medical indication requiring a caesarean section does include kehmbar pregnancy, the mother suffered from high blood pressure, or diabetes.

But in many countries are now found a tendency for women to prefer a cesarean section by reason of fear with the normal birth process.
