Have you ever heard of the illness Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)? Probably most of us are still many who do not know about this one disease. OCD is a mental illness that attacks characterized by traits common to think things over and over again and doing it repeatedly.

An example is someone who is often thought to turn off the gas stove at home, when in fact he had turned it off. Can also someone who is always in the habit of washing hands many times and still feel dirty.

OCD condition also experienced by famous people such as Wayne Rooney, Katy Perry, Megan Fox, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Alba, Paul Gascoigne, and Charlize Theron.

Katy Perry claims her OCD behavior often arises when he was doing a concert tour. "I would panic at the sight of any equipment damaged in the make-up cosmetic bag. But the most frightening for me if there is a stain glasses with fingerprints on the glass," he said.

Meanwhile, Megan Fox says she can not eat at the restaurant uses silver flatware. "I felt disgusted knowing there are hundreds of people who may have used the spoon. Imagine how many bacteria in the spoon," he said.

According to Drs. Pam Spurr, an expert in behavioral, social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter could actually make a person exposed to diseases that are classified as psychiatric disorders. Habits or routines that are often played up even if only just to see, check, or update the status can make you feel anxious and want to continue to do so.

If this practice continues unchecked, then your brain will always feel compelled to do so, which will ultimately affect your mental and habits of everyday life.

Pam Spurr said, a way to prevent OCD is to calm the mind, changing the mindset and lifestyle.

But unfortunately, the social networking sites including Facebook and Twitter actually have the opposite effect for the human mind, can even create greater anxiety.

Pam adds, someone who is generally a quieter way of thinking could solve this problem. To protect themselves from the possibility of this disease, Pam recommends everyone should limit the amount of their time to playing facebook.
